Touchcast Ciscape - End user guide (Main application)

1. Introduction

1.1 What is Ciscape?

Ciscape offers a secure and safe solution for companies to have a turnkey embrace of generative AI at scale.

The product is split into two distinct parts: the main application and the organization gCMS. This document aims to guide you through the various features and functionalities of the main app, helping you get the most out of our product.

2. Main Application

This represents the area of Ciscape which is accessible to end users.

2.1 Account creation

Currently it is not possible to create an account on your own. To access the product, an organization admin will have to either allowlist your email or the entire company domain.

2.2 Login screen

Depending on what method of login is set up for your organization, your Ciscape login screen will look differently

2.2.1 Login flow with 6-digit verification code

  1. The field where to enter the registered email

  2. Click this button to initiate login. Check the login flow for more details.

  3. Click this button to help troubleshoot if you have login problems.

  1. Once login is initiated, a one-time access code is being sent to user email inbox. This is the area to paste the access code. Note, the one-time access code is valid for 30 minutes.

  2. Check this box so that the session is stored for 7 days.

  3. If you haven’t received the access code, click this button to resend the code

  4. Check this box if you want to receive product updates

  5. Click this button to login

  6. Click this button to login with a different email

2.2.2 Login flow with the login and password or Single Sign On (SSO)

When the Single Sign On (SSO) option is enabled users will be directed to the SSO page when attempting to sign in:

 

 

Users can elect to sign in using SSO via Microsoft Azure by clicking the “Continue with Microsoft” button at the top of the login screen and following the instructions on the following page to successfully sign in.

 

2.3 Main screen

This is the screen that is presented to users when they enter Ciscape for their organization.

  1. This is the welcome video. Customizable per organization.

  2. The example questions. Customizable per organization. They represent a quick way for users to start using Ciscape.

  3. The browser bar. This is the area of UI that contains the most important functionalities:

    1. Navigate to the home screen

    2. Asking questions by typing

    3. Share a question

    4. Add to bookmarks

    5. Asking questions by voice

2.3.1 Asking questions by typing

This part is straightforward. Start typing your question and once done hit ENTER or click the send button from the right side.

2.3.2 Asking questions by voice

This feature allows asking questions by voice, without the need to type anything. The way it works is simple. Push the button, speak your request, and once done, release it. The button is a push to talk button, meaning you need to keep it pressed for the duration of your query.

2.3.3 The generated results

  1. The question for which the platform generated the results.

  2. For each question Ciscape generates a single summary slide.

    1. The slide summarizes the response in a short and to the point presentation

    2. The slide contains a title, subtitle, a few bullet points and a function to have the AI avatar present the content to you.

    3. There is a copy slide button that allows users export the slide for repurposing in other applications.

  3. The core response to the question.

  4. Ability to rate and copy the response

  5. The Cibar

  6. Learn more

    1. Displays the slides that where used in the process of generating the answer. User can review the source content to learn more.

    2. We also show the links to the original webpages that were ingested into the system and used to generate the answer. In here we can also show podcasts.

  7. People also ask. A list of follow up questions the users can ask to learn more about the question they’ve asked.

2.3.4 The Cibar

The Cibar allows users to take the simple text answer and conveniently transform it into a format that the user needs. Please see the list below for a brief explanation of each function:

  1. Blog - formats the answer as a blog post

  2. LinkedIn - formats the answer in form which is suitable to be posted on LinkedIn

  3. Speech - formats the answer as a speech

  4. AIDA - formats the answer following the AIDA acronym: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action

  5. eMail - formats the answer as an easy to send eMail

  6. Message - formats the answer and in short, digestible message

  7. Agenda - formats the answer into an meeting agenda that you can copy and jump start a presentation

  8. TalkTrack - formats the answer as a TalkTrack

  9. Offerings - display list of services that the organization can offer for the topic of the answer

  10. Compete - it generates a list of counter-arguments to attack the offerings from competitors

  11. Proposal - formats the answer as a proposal

2.3.5 Share a question

This feature allows users to share a specific question with other people. Once they click the button, the link to the current question is being copied in the clipboard, ready for it to be shared with someone else. Important to note that if you have asked more than one question, the link to the question being copied is always the last one.

2.3.6 Bookmarks

2.3.6.1 Add to bookmarks

Clicking on this button will add the current question (or the last question asked) to the list of user bookmarks. Users can later on open this question from the list of bookmarks.

2.3.6.2 List of bookmarks

To open the list of bookmarks, click on the 3 dots button, bottom right, then Bookmarks and then list of bookmarks will show up as in the above screenshot.

To open one of the bookmarks, simply click on them.
