TouchCast Studio: Live Streaming Menu
The Live menu option is used to create a Live Stream video of an event. Â The camera feed is shared with others who you have shared the link with (and optionally the password). Â
7.5.1 Moderator Account
The Live Stream moderator account name displays along with the current settings for Privacy and Comments. Â Tap the Manage here button to open the Settings and revise these setting options.
7.5.2 Live Stream Button
Tap this button to begin streaming. Â A countdown period allows you to prepare or tap on the button again to cancel streaming. Â Â The icon will change indicating that you are recording. Tap the icon while recording to stop streaming Â
Note: If you choose to record a copy of the Live Stream locally (a setting option) you can later edit the recording of the event using Studio editing tools. |
7.5.3 Network Connection Strength Indicator
The strength (speed) of the network connection is indicated using an antenna icon. Â The bolder the icon, the better the connection. To avoid drop-outs and poor quality, you should try to choose a location with a strong internet connection.
7.5.4 Number of Current Viewers
Count of the current number of viewers for this livestream.
7.5.5 Number of Total Viewer Comments
Count of the total comments posted by viewers of this livestream.
7.5.6 Share Link
Tap this option to share the link to the livestream with others. Â A pop up provides selection of options for sharing the livestream URL with others (e.g., text message, email).
