TouchCast Studio: What is a .TCT file and why should I use it?

A .TCT file is a proprietary file format used by Touchcast applications to export a fully interactive video that can be shared directly with others without using the Fabric Portal or a share link.

To export a .TCT choose this option on the upload screen and then hit done. The touchcast file will be sent to your e-mail address (allow several minutes for this to be delivered) and you can now either forward it on or you can save it locally to an iPad or computer. 

Note: To view a .TCT file on another device, a user must have either Studio or Pitch installed to view this specific file format. You can instruct the user you've sent this to to download the application from either the iOS App Store, Mac App store or Windows Store - don't worry, they won't have to purchase anything to view the video, our player is free for anyone to use.
