TouchCast Pitch MacOS: How to use the Pitch Virtual Camera

The Pitch Virtual Camera enables you to present with Pitch in 3rd party video streaming software

The next time you use a 3rd party video streaming tool, like a video conference application or live streaming software, try presenting with TouchCast Pitch. You'll be able to stream your Pitch scenes at a high frame rate through your software of choice, simply by setting the camera inside the 3rd party software to the Pitch Virtual Camera.

To begin, make sure you have Pitch and the Pitch Virtual Camera software installed on your computer. NOTE: If you installed the Pitch Virtual Camera while Pitch was running, make sure to restart Pitch and any 3rd party video streaming applications where you plan to use the Pitch Virtual Camera as an input.

Here are the steps to ensure your presentation runs smoothly:

Step 1: Run Pitch and make sure you've prepared your presentation.

Step 2: Jump over to the software you are using to stream, like Skype, Zoom, or WebEX to name a few examples.

Step 3: Inside this streaming software, visit the Preferences or Settings to find your camera selection and make sure to set the camera to the "Pitch Virtual Camera" – once the camera is selected, you'll likely see a preview that looks like this:

Step 4: Return to the Pitch application and move to Pitch Mode and choose "Present with Pitch Virtual Camera"

Now you will be streaming your Pitch presentation as the camera in the 3rd party video streaming service of your choice!
