TouchCast Pitch Windows : Installing Sideloaded Version of Pitch While Waiting for Hotfix

Our Team is working hard to make sure you have a stable version of the app ASAP. This updated version has been already submitted to the Windows Store for review. The review process can take Microsoft a few days to complete, which is in their hands unfortunately.

In order to provide you with a fix earlier, we released a sideloaded version of the app that's available for you to download now. Please use the following instructions to install it on your device.

1. Enable Sideloading

Type "Developer Settings" in the search field next to the Start button


Make sure that "Sideloaded Apps" option is enabled

2. Uninstall Previous Version of Pitch

Find TouchCast Pitch in the Start Menu, right click on the menu item and select Uninstall

3. Installing Sideloaded Version


Download Sideloaded version from here.


Unzip the archive 


Run Pitch.Package_1.16.xxx.0_x64.appxbundle and follow Installer instructions


Once the app is installed you can use it as usual.

4. Reverting to the Store Version

Once the fixed version of the Pitch available in the Microsoft Store, we would like you to switch back to it as we keep adding new exciting features to the product, and want you to stay up to date with the newest and greatest version of the app. 

In order to revert to the store version please uninstall the sideloaded version of the Pitch, following sections 2 of this document, and install the new version from the Windows Store.
