Signing in to Zoom
Being signed in with your Touchcast account, open “Preferences“ window (Touchcast Director > Preferences…).
On “General“ tab, check your Zoom account:
If you aren’t signed in to Zoom yet, click “Sign In“. You’ll be asked to sign in to Zoom in your browser:
After signing in to Zoom in your browser, click “Allow“:
Return to Touchcast Director via popup window appeared.
Just after fetching your Zoom account, you’ll be able to initiate Zoom meetings in Touchcast Director, and more.
Note: being not signed in to Zoom yet and trying to start new Zoom meeting in Touchcast Director, you’ll be asked to sign in to Zoom.
Checking your camera & mic
Оpen “Preferences“ window (Touchcast Director > Preferences…).
On “AV“ tab, check camera & mic to be used on your Zoom calls:
Note: being a speaker on a Zoom call, you’ll see these devices in tooltips for camera & mic
Adding placeholders for cameras of Zoom speakers
In Prepare mode, being on any scene of your project, click “Speaker“ button on toolbar and then click “Placeholder for Camera“:
Arrange appeared placeholder as you want:
Note: if you need to show Zoom speakers in several placeholders simultaneously, you can bind them using context menu
Adding placeholders for Zoom’s shared screens
In Prepare mode, being on any scene of your project, click “Speaker“ button on toolbar and then click “Placeholder for Shared Screen“:
Arrange appeared placeholder as you want:
Note: being on a Zoom call, you can crop a Zoom’s shared screen (View > Tune a Shared Screen)
Starting new Zoom meeting
In Show mode, click “Zoom“ button on toolbar and then click “Start New Meeting“:
You can not only conduct a meeting but also participate in it as a speaker:
Note: being on a Zoom call, you can look at the Zoom’s active apps notifier
Joining to the Zoom meeting
In Show mode, click “Zoom“ button on toolbar and then click “Join a Meeting“:
Again, you can participate in a Zoom meeting as a speaker:
