On Windows machines, some users may encounter an issue where at the beginning of a scene 1 second of audio may not play.


  1. If you're using a laptop, make sure that your machine is plugged into power. You may recieve this error if your computer isn't plugged in which could be the source of the audio issues, as well as your laptop's performance issues.
  2. If your issue persists, attempt to "Allow hardware acceleration of audio with this device" in your settings. See below for step-by-step guidance.

Note: You must be an administrator of the computer to enable this feature. If you are not an admin, you may need to contact your IT team to help you enable this function. 

If you're using headphones while recording:

Go to  Settings > System > Sound > Sound Control Panel > Headphones (double click) > Advanced > Hardware Acceleration

Then "Allow hardware acceleration of audio with this device."
