This article explains how to add the 'eMail to' vApp to your touchcast.
When the eMail vApp is added to your touchcast your viewers will be able to select this and send you an email from within the video. Please note, this feature is available in TouchCast Studio 2.3 and later.
Instructions
- Tap the vApps option and select 'Add vApp'
- Tap the 'eMail to' vApp.
- Populate the fields at the top starting with the email address that the emails should come to.
Type the subject of your emails.
- For the Button Label, type your label, this may be 'click here to send an email'
To preview your email button, click the Preview button.
- To place your email vApp on your video canvas, tap 'Use'.
- Your vApp will now be placed on your canvas, record you vApp as normal.
When this touchcast is played in a browser, the viewer can click the email button to send an email.
Please note: the viewer will need an email client setup on their laptop or device they are viewer the touchcast on.
