A new way to add the Touchcast app to a meeting

It’s now possible to add the Touchcast app to a meeting that’s already running

  1. Start the meeting and click the App button at the top panel.

  2. Select Metaverse Cloud app.

  3. Go through the steps of choosing the venue and customizing it.

  4. Invite attendees. Note that another meeting will be created for attendees to use - make sure to provide them with the correct invite to join the call.

  5. Go back to the meeting and wait for the venue to load - you are ready to go!

 

 

Broadcasting (livestreaming) feature updates

  • Corrected the typo in label “Broadcast to RTMP"

  • If Broadcast is selected, only one meeting (Speaker) will be created and steps displayed on the left-side panel will be dynamically updated to reflect that.

 

 

Admin panel updates (available to limited users at the moment)

  • Implemented two-factor authentication.

  • Added option to invite users.

  • Added option to create organization for global admins.

 

Analytics updates

  • Tracking real duration of the call (used to be just scheduled).

  • Tracking all events (actions) from seller and buyer side in the widget.

Other enhancements

  • Support of multi-region Azure functionality (no longer limited to one region when creating a server). This also leads to decreasing the time needed to stand up a new server when a new organization is created, for example.

  • Added an option to remove the custom logo from step 2. This can be done by using the Delete (X) button at the top right corner.
