Interactive Articles

AI generated articles are interactive transcripts of VoD session, and only compatible for sessions originally conducted in English. When enabled, the AI article will follow along with what is being said in the video, and also feature highlighted sections that are automatically selected or chosen by a human editor. The AI article in its original form will directly inform the AI-generated English captions, so the events team can edit the AI article to more finely tune English captions for sessions post-event.

It is best practice that humans review AI articles before being added to an event page, and should also be reviewed if used for standalone videos uploaded to Fabric that are to be shared with external clients.

To edit the article, click anywhere within the AI generated text and begin typing. Words and phrases highlighted in pink indicate likely inaccuracies and require further attention.

When editing words or passages, amend words one-by-one as needed. This is a necessary step because the article does inform the AI generated English captions, and all subsequently AI generated subtitles. Editing large blocks of text runs the risk of altering the time stamps of the captions, which means the captions won’t align with what is being spoken when those are generated.

Another feature of the AI article is the table of contents and chapters. The AI will produce a table of contents and chapter titles that can be edited manually, and offer an organization narrative to the AI article.

Trailers

A summary of sessions can be generated and made available on the event page VoD by highlighting selected portions of the AI Article.

Chapters

Chapters can also appear on the player bar of the VoD. This is a setting that can be optionally enabled for VoD on event pages. Subheadings within the article are generated automatically but can be edited in full, and new chapters can be manually added.
