Touchcast for Teams Multispeaker Venues

Use case

If there is a need to bring multiple speakers to a stage for a panel discussion, Touchcast for Teams offers a special venue enabled with this functionality - the Touchcast Hall venue.

This venue has limited availability, please contact us if you want it enabled for your organization.

How to find the multispeaker venue

To run the meeting in this venue, follow the normal steps of creating a meeting and adding the Touchcast app to it.

Proceed with the next steps as per usual.

Managing the meeting

After launching the Speaker call, enable the Touchcast app and wait for the venue to download and launch.

When you first launch it, the stage will be empty.

Managing speakers

Switch to the Participants tab to manage speakers on stage. You can invite 1 person to the Podium and up to three speakers to the Table.

To add a speaker to the Podium or Table, use the Add Speaker button below the Podium Speaker or Table Speakers menu respectively.

You can remove the speaker from stage (Podium and Table) anytime. Use the three dots button and select “Remove from stage“ option.

Managing active speakers

By default, the active speaker’s video feed will be automatically shown on the side monitors (Active Speaker toggle is ON).

If you want to control who is being shown on the side monitors manually, you can use the “Focus” option placed under the three-dot menu .

Managing cameras

Move to the Controls tab to manage cameras. You can switch between the following views:

  • Wide Angle

  • Speaker + Content

  • Speaker

  • Content

Or you can use Cruise Control and let the autopilot run the camera movements on its own.

Sharing content

Shared content will always be shown in the middle screen on stage.
