Logging into the Showtime CMS
In order to create virtual experiences on Touchcast's Showtime platform you'll need access to the Showtime CMS, a robust Content Management System allowing you to create a branded page for hosting live video streams, VoD content, and more.
This quick start guide will walk through logging into the CMS as an admin for the first time.
Logging in for the first time
1. To access the CMS you’ll receive an email invitation to join your organization’s CMS from either a Touchcast admin or a manager in your organization; once you have received this invitation, click Join Now to set up your account.
2. This will open a new page in your browser. In the Email field, type the email address of the inbox where you received the invitation and click Sign up.
3. A six-digit confirmation code will be sent to your inbox - check your email and copy this code.
4. Return to the login set up page and paste this unique code in the field as prompted. Then select Continue.
5. Enter your First name, Last name, and choose a Password.
Be sure to choose a safe and secure password that you will remember! Touchcast recommends using LastPass for the safest password keeping (and sharing).
6. Check the box once you have confirmed your agreement to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and then click Sign up to complete your registration.
7. Once you’ve signed up for your Touchcast Showtime account, you’ll be directed to a new screen to sign in with your credentials. Enter your password and then select Continue.
8. Upon logging in you’ll be brought to your Showtime dashboard, where you’ll see any Showtimes you’re already assigned to, and where you can begin creating new Showtime entries.
