1. Can I create courses from files that already exist within our organization?

Yes, MentorLearn can process text-based files to generate comprehensive training courses, including structured lessons and follow-up quizzes to assess learner comprehension. Additionally, a Knowledge Base can be used to ground AI-generated content in specific organizational documents for accuracy.

2. Can I change the generated courses on my own?

Yes, all generated content is fully editable. You can manually modify lessons, quizzes, and slides or provide specific instructions to the AI to refine and tailor the course content to your exact needs.

3. Can I use digital twins for my MentorLearn courses, or am I limited to the existing avatars?

You can either use the pre-existing avatars or create a custom digital twin based on an image or video. This allows you to personalize the AI Mentor to align with your branding and audience expectations.

4. Can I manage access to the courses?

Yes, MentorLearn provides multiple access control options, including individual log-ins, Single Sign-On (SSO) via Azure AD, ensuring proper analytics tracking and secure access management.

5. How do I update a course I’ve already created?

For minor updates, you can edit the existing course and republish it. For major updates, it’s recommended to regenerate the course using the latest materials to ensure all content remains accurate and aligned with current information.

6. Can I unpublish or delete courses if they are no longer relevant?

Yes, you can choose to unpublish courses to temporarily remove them from learner access or delete them permanently if they are no longer needed.

7. Can I control the length of each course?

Each slide uploaded as part of the core content will produce approximately 1.5 minutes of video or lecture time. However, the total duration may vary depending on additional interactions, quizzes, and learner engagement.

8. What security measures are in place to prevent misuse of MentorLearn?

MentorLearn is built on enterprise-grade governance powered by Azure OpenAI, ensuring secure AI interactions. Additionally, the platform offers model-level governance, content moderation, and optional full transcript logging for accountability and traceability of user interactions.

9. What is Multi-Modal Output, and how does it enhance learning?

MentorLearn provides multi-modal output, meaning that each learning module is available in multiple formats:

• AI Mentor Video Presentation – The AI Mentor delivers the lesson in a video format.

• Supporting Slides – Key takeaways and structured information are presented in an easy-to-follow slide format.

• Interactive Q&A – Learners can ask questions and receive AI-generated responses for deeper understanding.

10. How does the Knowledge Base improve content generation?

The Knowledge Base allows users to upload documents containing identifiable text, enabling the AI to reference and integrate key information into courses. This helps ensure that generated content remains relevant, fact-based, and aligned with organizational knowledge.

11. How accurate is AI-generated content, and do I need to review it?

AI-generated content is based on structured input and the provided Knowledge Base, making it contextually relevant and high-quality. However, we always recommend reviewing and refining the generated materials to ensure they align with your specific objectives, company policies, and tone of voice.

12. Can I track learner progress and performance?

Yes, MentorLearn includes course and module analytics, allowing administrators to monitor learner progress, completion rates, and quiz performance. The platform provides insights to help you optimize training programs and identify areas where learners may need additional support.

13. Is there a recommended format for uploading files for course generation?

For best results, upload a well-structured PDF with identifiable text (not image-based) in 16:9 ratio. Each page of the document corresponds roughly to one lesson, and modules should ideally be 10-20 pages long to maintain optimal learning flow.

14. Can I integrate MentorLearn with my existing Learning Management System (LMS)?

Currently, MentorLearn does not have direct LMS integrations, but SCORM support is in progress. We are also open to suggestions for future integrations to better meet the needs of our users.
