Tomorrow (December 04, 2019, 1AM EST) we are doing maintenance and upgrading our systems related to authentication. For users who did not authenticate after July 4th, 2019 we will require them to set up a new password upon their first login. For all the others no action required. (the specific version/build you will see within Pitch post update should be 1.16.988.0)

To all users of TouchCast Pitch on Windows:

We are aware that several Pitch users are experiencing issues with the latest version (v1.16.978) released into the Microsoft App Store earlier this week. These issues relate to problems with recording and inserting text, resulting in frequent crashes. We have addressed these issues and have submitted a new version (v 1.16.2) to the App Store. Unfortunately, given the submission and approval guidelines, it will take a few days before this version is available in the store.

In the meantime, we are aware that many users depend on Pitch for critical use, so we are making a side-loaded version available to download immediately. Please follow instructions in the document [HERE|https://touchcastllc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CS/pages/829063290/TouchCast+Pitch+Windows+Installing+Sideloaded+Version+of+Pitch+While+Waiting+for+Hotfix] to download a temporary fix version. We would like to emphasize however that it is important for you to go back to the App Store and download the correct version once it becomes available, in order to ensure that you continue to get subsequent updates.

Important Announcement
FAO users who use LinkedIn authentication to access the TouchCast Suite.
LinkedIn is disabling their support for using their service to authenticate into 3rd party tools. Therefore we need to ask you to set up a new way of accessing your TouchCast account. Don’t worry: your data will be preserved and nothing will be lost.

Steps:
1. Make sure you have logged out from your TouchCast account.
2. Then navigate to https://auth.touchcast.com/create-account.
3. Type your work email (the one you have been using with LinkedIn) and click Sign up button and then follow the steps.

Educational TouchCast customers

If this is the case, please clear your browser cache and reload Fabric web page.

Service outage

The incident was due to an AWS outage.

Analytics data has been fully restored.

UPDATE March 8, 03:30am EST/ 08:30am GMT
Analytic data is continuing to be restored. All other issues are now resolved.

UPDATE 1:50pm EST/ 18:50 GMT
Below is a more detailed update on which services have not yet been restored.
1. Managing users in the client admin area for business and enterprise clients.
2. Analytics dashboard for a touchcast is showing inconsistent data. This will remain until we restore the data for analytics.
3. Searching for users inside Fabric Portal when sharing a file is not functioning

We continue to investigate whether other parts of our service are affected. Our team is working to fully restore the data for search and analytics, but we anticipate that this will take several hours.

The issue has been caused by an AWS outage that affected the Touchcast login process.
The login issue has now been resolved and we are clarifying if other services have been affected

TouchCast is experiencing a service outage that is preventing users from logging into their accounts. This affects users of Studio, Pitch and Fabric with Individual, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts We are investigating the issue and will update users once we learn more.

Pitch for Windows 10 (UWP)

We will be releasing an update to TouchCast Pitch for Windows 10 devices. If you don't have auto updates enabled, please update your app from the Microsoft Store. Studio 2.2.1 Update.
Date: January 24, 2019
We will be releasing an update to TouchCast Studio for iPad. If you don't have auto updates enabled, please make sure to update your app from the app store. This version includes some general fixes and performance enhancements when uploading your touchcasts and projects.

System Maintenance is for sustaining the security, availability, and performance of the infrastructure supporting TouchCast services.
Window: 1 hour
TouchCast will be performing scheduled maintenance during the above window. This maintenance will impact the viewing of touchcasts created PRIOR to July 2018 and will last for 15 minutes within the one hour window specified.
