TouchCast Studio: What Does The Mic Monitor Do?
The mic monitor reflects the status of the iPad's internal mic. This is the mic which lets you record audio without an external microphone attached. Make sure that you've enabled the iPad's mic to be used by TouchCast Studio upon setup. When it is on, it will be highlighted green in the dock of TouchCast studio.
2. The mic monitor is a handy visual aid that reflects the volume levels of your audio recording. We suggest that for the best possible sound, use the monitor and check that it's in the green range while recording.
